***PLEASE NOTE***

In the State of Ohio it is ILLEGAL to possess, own, control, restrain, or keep any wild animal without having the proper wildlife rehabilitator permits. The purpose of the law is to protect wild animal populations and to protect people from disease and injury.

Please also note that the Lorain County Metro Parks DOES NOT have the permits necessary to ACCEPT OR REHABILITATE injured or orphaned wildlife. This page is designed to help you find someone with the proper permits to assist you.
