Event Description:
Holiday Lights at Carlisle spans two parks within the reservation– Carlisle Visitor Center (12882 Diagonal Rd., LaGrange) and the Carlisle Equestrian Center (13630 Diagonal Rd., LaGrange). At the Equestrian Center, visitors are able to enjoy a half-mile drive-through lighted display from the comfort of their car. At the Carlisle Visitor Center, visitors can walk through a wonderland of lights along the Children’s Nature Discovery Trail. This trail is open for walking Wed.-Sat. and offers Little Green Choo rides on Sundays. Plus, the Friends of the Metro Parks offers concession sales and a chance to warm up inside the Carlisle Visitor Center. Concessions (hot cocoa, cookies, and popcorn) are available each night of the event.
Admission is free, but we ask visitors to bring nonperishable food items to be donated to Second Harvest Food Bank. This has proven to be one of the Food Bank’s largest donation events!

The sponsorship includes 2 sponsor signs (provided by L.C.M.P.), with one located at the Equestrian Center as well as one located at the Carlisle Visitor Center highlighting all our wonderful event supporters. Your sponsorship will not only help L.C.M.P. facilitate this event but also enable your organization to be seen by thousands of visitors who will experience the Holiday Lights at Carlisle event this holiday season.
