MUSIC ON THE PATIO CONCERT SERIES

Discovering Dinosaurs display at Miller Nature Preserve
Dates: The 2nd and 4th Thursdays of June - September (excluding the 4th Thursday in Sept.)

Why not join us for this increasingly popular event featuring great local musicians playing different genres of music? Bring a chair for a relaxing musical evening on the patio! Food and beverages available for purchase at the Orchid Café with food choices themed to the musical genre.

*Please Note: Arrive early and carpooling is strongly suggested. Concert will be held inside if raining.*

Cost: FREE!

As the sun goes down, the stars come out! Music Under the Stars is perfect for those warm summer nights on the shores of Lake Erie. Come and stake out a spot near the fountain at Lakeview Park at this FREE concert. What's better than live music on a Sunday night?

Pioneer Craftsman Experience

PIONEER CRAFTSMAN EXPERIENCE

Date: Tuesday, September 17
Time: 9:30am - 1:30pm
Location: Vermilion River Reservation, Mill Hollow, 51211 North Ridge Rd., Vermilion
Cost: $5 per student

This unique program allows students a chance to step back in time to the days of early pioneers! Groups will experience 8 different pioneer living history stations including gold panning, old-fashioned cooking, forging metals with a blacksmith, butter-making, historical tours of the Benjamin Bacon house, and more! Homeschool groups may pre-register online and pay ($5/student) by August 23. Other school groups please contact jwilson@metroparks.cc to pre-register.
