Music under the stars

2019-2020 Season: December 2019 - August 2020
Performances: Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays
Cost: $10 - $18 per ticket
Location: French Creek Nature Center

Comedy and tragedy are the bookends of our human experience. At one extreme lies unbridled amusement, uncontainable sorrow at the other, and the pendulum of our lives swings indiscriminately but steadily between them. Often in the same chapter, sometimes in the same moment, and once in a great while in the same breath, we are roused successively by each. And then there are the almost implausible instances when the two seem to meet in delicate serendipity: do we laugh through the tears, or cry from the laughter? The 2019-2020 French Creek Theatre season nimbly maneuvers amid the comedic and the tragic, presenting ghosts funny and frightening; men witty and wicked; circumstances hilarious and horrific. Telling these stories onstage, we endeavor to find a reason behind life’s volatility, or at the very least, seek a way through it together, audience and artist. See you at the theatre.

Purchase tickets to any of this season's shows by visiting the French Creek Theatre website or by calling 440-949-5200.
